- Designer Marsha Wiest-Hines founded Made for Movement in 1987. She was working in the costume shop at the Guthrie Theater as a cutter and draper, and designing for Minneapolis Children’s Theater and the Illusion Theater when she discovered the Twin Cities Ballroom Dance community. In it, she found a place to combine her life long love of dancing and costumes.
