Description
MacAlder Kennels is a 30+ year linebred strain of Gordon Setters that has its origin in Marion Wilcox's "Afternod" Kennel. Over the decades, we (first Mr. C.H. Stephenson, the founder of MacAlder Kennels, and for the past 22 years, Tom & Deb Olson) have endeavored to consistently breed solid, sturdy Gordons with classic heads and strong, fluid, ground covering movement. We believe that "type" is the foundation of any breed and we are foremost dedicated to its preservation.
Over the years, our MacAlder Gordons have produced hundreds of AKC Show Champions as well as many, many Top Producers, Specialty, Group, and Best in Show Winners.
