On November 1, 1977, Main Street Records opened with a smattering of new and used, import and independent, popular and alternative vinyl. Customer requests led us to seek out-of-the-ordinary sources and eventually resulted in trips to the United Kingdom in search of elusive items. These trips as well as other pursuits produced a massive quantity of hard-to-find music.
