Living Water Baptist Church has been in Lakeside since the late 1940's, originally beginning as a Southern Baptist Mission outpost. Along the way it affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, and bore the name "1st Baptist Church of Lakeside", and remained Southern Baptist until 2002, when the membership decided to line up with the American Baptist Churches of the Pacific Southwest. At that time the name changed to what it is today, "Living Water Baptist Church" Lakeside Arizona.
