About LUUCU
As a Christian Union we are united around the fundamental beliefs of Christianity as revealed through the Holy Bible. We believe that God sent His son Jesus Christ to earth, to be crucified and raised to life and that by believing in Jesus and His resurrection we may have eternal life, not through our own works but because of God's grace alone.
We are made up of a broad spectrum of denominations who come together around the message of the Gospel to actively engage in mission on campus and to mature in the Christian faith by regularly meeting together to pray, worship and to study God's word.
Our main meetings are on Saturday nights at 7pm in the Chaplaincy every week during term time. We also have smaller groups known as 'cell groups' who meet on a Wednesday nights to study the Bible and gain fellowship with other Christians, as well as prayer meetings on Wednesday mornings, an International Café on Thursday nights, and numerous other activities throughout the week.
