Title

Lupus Foundation of Southern California

Description

The Lupus Foundation of Southern California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit health agency. We originated as a small support group for local lupus patients, which gradually grew and became the San Diego Chapter of The American Lupus Society (TALS) in 1976. In August of 1996, TALS merged with the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA). We since have become the Lupus Foundation of Southern California/Imperial County. We are a patient-oriented, non-profit, voluntary health agency. We hold various support groups throughout San Diego and Imperial County and once a quarter we have seminars we feel are pertinent to people with lupus. They are always free and open to the public. Please see our calendar for the next scheduled seminar.

We are always looking for ways to improve the services available and to expand our services to other parts of the county.

Our foundation is a member of the Combined Health Agencies (CHA) commonly referred to as the United way /Chad Campaign (designation number 5533). LFSC is also a member of the Community Health Charities (CHC), and participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (designation number 5033). We appreciate any of you that donate through your workplace giving program!
