Description
Since 1866, "The London Club" has enabled shipowners to protect themselves against the many legal liabilities to which they are exposed in the course of their business, and against which the ordinary policies on ship, freight, etc., afford no protection.
Since the London Club was founded, many additional liabilities have been imposed on shipowners, and the cover afforded by the Association has been progressively extended so as to give shipowners the protection which experience has shown to be most required. The terms of the present comprehensive insurance are contained in the Association's Rules, copies of which can be obtained from the Managers, (see the "A Bilbrough & Co" page for contact details).
Selection - The London Club maintains a selective underwriting policy for entry of ships dictated by type, age, trading pattern and an Owners commitment to meeting the highest industry standards.
