Description
Lutheran Hillside Village is a part of Lutheran Senior Ministries, a non-profit organization owned and operated by an association of Lutheran congregations in the Peoria area. Lutheran Senior Ministries was formed in the 1950s, focusing its resources and efforts on the needs of seniors.
Our mission has always been to create an environment that encourages companionship; allows people to care for and support one another; and offers spiritual, social, recreational and wellness opportunities.
We opened the Lutheran Home retirement center in 1963, later adding skilled and minimal care nursing facilities, assisted living services, and patio homes. Since 2002 we have expanded further, adding apartments, villas, additional patio homes, a community center, new assisted living apartments, Alzheimer's assisted living, and a medical memory loss unit. Our beautiful community offers numerous recreational activities, comprehensive services, and peace of mind.
