Description
The owners, Marilyn and Michael, have been following a low-carb lifestyle since November of 2000. Michael to lower his cholesterol and Marilyn to lose weight. Both have been successful and have never felt better. Michael works at the store full-time, with Marilyn working there part-time.
The idea for Low Carb Central was born out of the frustration we had shopping in multiple stores and multiple web sites for low-carb food products. In September of 2003 we started the planning process; and on July 9th, 2004, we opened our doors for business.
We would not have been able to open the store without the support (both financial and emotional) of our parents: Kirt (who we miss greatly), Betty, Don and Ev. Your confidence in our abilities and our idea continues to inspire us.
