Description
This site was conceived by my frustration over having hundreds, if not thousands of books, videos, and cd's sitting around my house no longer being used or wanted. All of these were what I called, very "loved stuff." The problem was nobody in the house wanted them but had no real good way of getting rid of them.
The auction scene was not the proper avenue since these were all gently used or almost new and no one really wanted to bid on them. The garage sale route was too much of a hassle. Thereby was born the idea of setting up a site to sell these items, person-to-person, at a fixed cost with low shipping charges and no middle-man. Why give someone 15% when you can buy and sell it for free??
We wanted a site that didn't ask alot, wouldn't invade our privacy by asking for our credit cards, a cut of the action, or would delvuge any personal information to anyone without our permission. So a few of us got together and formed LovedStuff.Com.
