- Hi! I am Trish, the filmmaker for Losing Tom, as well as the writer and webmaster for the LosingTom.org web site. I began the film Losing Tom around 1997 and completed the final cut in 2000 as my thesis project for graduate school. I decided to do a creative project instead of a traditional written thesis, because it interested me more and I have always worked in creative fields. The web site became the medium for the academic supporting material, as well as the medium that enables people all around the world to access my web site, discover my film and have direct interaction with me.
