Description
Lorenzana Food Corporation traces its humble beginnings at Tagudin, Ilocos Sur at the turn of the century (1908). Its founding father Mr. Filemon Lorenzana started the business with his family catering to the farmers and miners of Northern Luzon. As business demand grew, his son, Solomon Lorenzana Sr. began exporting bagoong and patis to Hawaii in 1936. After the world war, demand for Lorenzana products increased dramaticaolly forcing it to move from Ermita to Paranaque in 1952.
In 1961, Lorenzana Food moved to its present site at M. Naval St., Navotas, Metro Manila. By December 28, 1972, it was duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
From its humble beginnings as a cottage industry in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, Lorenzana Food Corporation has grown to 130 employees, and has evolved to be the market leader in the domestic Patis and Bagoong industry with its Lorins and Filtaste brands. Modern facilities and the commitment to make patis and bagoong world class products have not only brought pride to our Filipino brothers overseas as Lorenzana has made Philippine bagoong and patis truly world class.
