Lollipop Theater Network (Lollipop) arranges private screenings of newly released movies for children suffering from debilitating illnesses. These children are usually confined to hospitals or other secluded environments preventing them from going to movie theaters.
Lollipop provides the administrative backbone and support for implementing the program in participating hospitals. By working closely with movie studios, Lollipop has developed strict viewing guidelines that address security and other industry concerns. Each screening is supervised by either an Lollipop volunteer or a studio representative.
To bring the magic of movies to children who need it the most but are unable to visit theaters due to their illnesses.
