This Log Skyscraper is located in downtown Whitehorse Yukon and run by Gus Karpes and Irene Pugh (known as Karpes & Pugh). The Skyscraper Trading Post is a heritage site and popular attraction in the Yukon Territory where you can get, gifts, gift ideas, books, handicrafts, art, music, Yukon Turkey, Bullshit grinders, and unique yukon gifts.
Gus & Irene have called the Yukon home for almost 30 years many of which were spent at LAKE LABERGE made famous by poet Robert Service in his poem The Cremation of Sam McGee.
Many of the items within the site are personally handcrafted at their Lake Laberge workshop. For inspiration the shop has a large window overlooking "the marge of Lake Laberge" - to borrow a line from Robert Service.
