Donald W. Garner created the LL.M. Law Group to promote a global legal community that will help facilitate immigration issues and business opportunities in the United States and abroad through a network of international attorneys who have obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.). Mr. Garner obtained a Master of International Laws degree while on a Fulbright Scholarship for the European Union at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven , Belgium. Mr. Garner obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court.
Mr. Garner knows first hand the problems presented by the immigration process, as his wife and stepmother are both immigrants. Mr. Garner has lived, studied and worked all over the world, including Mexico, Canada, China, South Korea, Japan, England, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Tunisia and Bulgaria. He is conversant in French, Spanish, German and Italian.
Mr. Garner has experience processing immigration cases for clients in Chicago, the United States, and abroad. He is an attorney in good standing admitted to practice immigration law in the United States. Mr. Garner is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Mr. Garner is a respected member of the Chicago community, as incoming President of the Rotary Club of Chicago, and President of the Chicago Chapter of the Fulbright Association. Both immigrants and visitors to the United States can rest assured that Mr. Garner will offer a fair deal to help bring a positive resolution to their immigration issues.
