The company was established in 1987 by Tom Welch, the current President and CEO of LJI Technologies, and one of the two original developers of the Lumberjack Software program. Over the years, the company evolved to include additional technology products and consulting services. In 2003, the company's name was changed to better reflect the product offerings and its vision to further diversify the product mix.
In addition to the product and service offerings, LJI Technologies provides personalized, small company customer support to its nationwide base of customers. LJI is a small business leader that is large enough to meet the customer's software and technology needs, yet small enough to provide personal, responsive service.
