- I was born in Vancouver, BC and moved to Kelowna, BC before I was 10. Don’t get me wrong, I love the big city and Vancouver will always have a special place in my heart but I love visiting it more than I would living there. Growing up I spent a lot of time in Alberta on the farm. My grandparents as well as aunts and uncles all lived on farms and that is where I fell in love with it. Riding horses, feeding chickens and pigs, picking mushrooms for dinner and having the room to run free and roam.
