USATF-Long Island, founded in 2000, is the newest member association of USA Track & Field, the governing body of track & field, cross country, long distance running and race walking in the United States.
The mission of USATF-Long Island is to serve the athletic community in Nassau and Suffolk counties with vision and leadership by providing for the needs of track & field, cross country, long distance running and race walk athletes of all ages, from youth to masters, and of all abilities, from the recreational runner to the elite athlete.
