From 1987 - 1998, I was the official photographer and Public Affairs Chief for "The President's Own" United States Marine Band, a renowned and unique organization whose mission is to provide music for the President of the United States. My photographs of the Marine Band have appeared in newspapers and magazines such as
In June and July of 1998 the White House Historical Association exhibited many of my photographs at the White House Visitors Center celebrating the Marine Band's Bicentennial. The exhibit is now on a tour of presidential libraries.
I retired from the Marine Band in July, 1998 after 23 years of service. My freelance photography concern, specializing in portrait and event photography, that I began in 1993 is now a full time occupation. I am a graduate of George Mason University.
