Synod of Lincoln Trails
Description
In 1982 the Synod began a program to encourage church renovation and expansion by creating and administering an investment and loan program. This program challenges congregations and presbyteries to participate by investing their accumulated resources in a way they can be available for those congregations that are considering major capital improvements because of increased mission and ministry. Churches can be involved in a different kind of mission through investing or borrowing.
In 2005, the Synod decided to transfer the mission of this program to the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program. For more information regarding this transition and investment and loan opportunities, please call the Synod Office at 800/566-5996.
