limevirtual is a custom web/email hosting system written and administered by David Joy. It incorporates a web-based frontend control panel, with the capacity to take orders and payment, and a database-driven backend, which automatically sets up and configures domains for hosting and email without requiring any human intervention. It runs on two dedicated Debian GNU/Linux servers: a rackmount P4 2.4Ghz (stasis.limedns.com) based in Sovereign House, London Docklands, and a secondary server (diesis.limedns.com) in Germany. It has been under development since mid-2003.
