We’re here in Chicago this week with the AAVSO taking part in Citizen Sky. This is a data-gathering and outreach program set up as part of IYA 2009 to enlist amateurs and interested citizens to take part in the Epsilon Aurigae campaign. This 27-year variable has already had first contact and will start to slide into dimness in just a few days. The people I’ve met here have all been top-notch, and are determined to clear up this 175-year mystery. Check out www.citizensky.
