Only the name is changing…We are still the Library for Libraries!
As of July 1, 2006 the Idaho State Library is changing its name to the Idaho Commission for Libraries. It’s been a long time coming. Since 2002 we have focused our resources on assisting libraries to build the capacity to better serve their clientele.
We will continue to meet the needs of Idaho libraries. You can find all the resources you have come to rely on, including the Talk Book Service, Read to Me, LiLI, grant programs, and the Professional Development Service.
During this time of transition, all references to the Idaho State Library are in the process of being updated (except for historical or archived electronic documents) to the Idaho Commission for Libraries.
