I came up with the idea of LightningCapitalOfTheWorld.com because of obvious reasons. First of all, I live in Florida. Secondly, I've been around plenty of lightning storms and hear about tragedies all the time on the news (mainly in the rainy season). With all the hoopla of Florida and hurricanes lately I thought it was still important to educate the public about lightning. Afterall, lightning is still a factor before, during and after a hurricane.
I am not a meterologist nor am I an expert on weather. This site is not intended for protection of life or property.The information I have gathered are from reputable sources and I also give you plenty of resources to back up the information given to you on this site. As of now I am not going to offer my email address to visitors; however this may change in the future in case there is a need for correspondence, feedback, etc.
