Dr. Dean Kirschner holds a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, and a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. Kirschner earned his doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland. His specialization was traumatized families.
Dr. Kirschner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and a Certified Hypnotherapist. He is trained in individual psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and marriage and family therapy.
