Title
The Life Cycle Project
Description
an initiative within the Free Methodist Church in Canada’s "Church Development" department to see churches become vital and living outposts of the kingdom. "Vital" in the sense of recaptured passion, direction, and genuine excitement about the future. "Living" in the sense of changing, dynamic, feisty, and reproducing.
The Lifecycle Project is not only the brainchild of the Free Methodist Church in Canada it also what we see as God’s own project for the world. His intervention into the human condition by taking dying and hopeless people, breathing life into them and enabling them to become vital and living partners in His kingdom.
So why is it called the Lifecycle? Well, glad you asked. The Lifecycle is a metaphor for the rhythms and cycles of the Spirit’s work. The Lifecycle is about how small faith and small deeds, no bigger than a mustard seed, can grow into living communities that people can find shelter in. The Lifecycle Project was begun by God, we’re just writing it down.
