About the LiBC
Founded in the early nineties by Bill Anderson, the Linux in Boise Club is the longest running Linux Group in Idaho. Initially formed to help would-be Linux users figure out how to install the OS, connect to your dial-up ISP, and then actually use it, it has since grown to other things.
With the advent of more modern distributions, installation can be an absolute breeze; getting on the net as simple as plugging in. This leaves us with using Linux, and this is where we find ourselves.
Well, that and talking about things that concern us such as hardware prices, direction of the industry, and sometimes games or finding a job.
