LhBaptist.com is maintained by members of Long Hill Baptist Church. Our technology strategy is to make exclusive use of "hosted solutions," i.e. no traditional "offline software" is used in the management of this site. Our "all online" approach is intended to permit a highly collaborative approach to maintaining the web site.
Our core editorial content is managed on the Squarespace platfrom, a hosted web-site management solution. Squarespace was designed to enable virtually anyone to create and manage web sites. Very little technical skill is required to create and maintain simple Squarepace sites.
We augment the Squarepace solution with additional hosted services provided by: Airset (calendar, meeting reminders), BibleGateway.com ("verse of the day"), FreeCRM.com (user registration, automated e-mail communication, general CRM) and Google (maps & site search). See below for more information.
