Description
Located on the south shore of Lake Geneva, our sailing center is among the regions most outstanding facilities. The racing schedule takes full advantage of the Wisconsin summers as racing takes place Tuesday, Wednesday Friday and Sunday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. Members can compete in any of the 10 one-design boats raced at the club.
While promoting all aspects of sailing, LGYC maintains a strong emphasis on one-design racing. Each year the yacht club conducts hundreds of races for our members as well as hosting numerous regattas which attract sailors from all over the country. The LGYC also maintains full kitchen and dining facilities, offering lunch service throughout the sailing season as well as the popular dinners that follow racing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Numerous social events are scheduled each year allowing members to take full advantage of all the Lake Geneva Yacht Club has to offer.
