The Leonard Independent School District is located east of State Highway 121 on U.S. Highway69, approximately 35 minutes from McKinney in Southwest Fannin County. It is located in a beautiful area of farms and ranches among gently rolling hills. The school system is experiencing gradual growth and has been able to adequately plan for this without disrupting the educational process.
