Description
Long Eaton & District Model Aircraft Club is very much a hive of modelling activities in and around the Long Eaton Area. With a membership count in the region of 200, it is arguably one of the most popular R/C aircraft clubs in the country. LEMAC was established approximately 50 years ago, when a mutual interest in model aircraft brought Alan J. Gilbert, Barry Kinsella and Norman Buckley, to name just a few, together. 50 years on, the club now meets almost every Friday evening and has the use of a local field for flying.
