Legi\X Company is an innovative lobbying firm formed in 1997 to supplement the services of its sister company, Stetson Law Offices, P.C. Legi\X offers an extensive range of services in the areas of political and legislative advocacy, consulting, and fundraising for tribes, tribal agencies, and other entities. We work with our clients to devise legislative and political strategies that best fit their needs and provide regular, detailed updates on what is happening in the courts, Congress, and the Administration, as well as at the state level and with the various independent commissions, councils, and associations that affect Indian Country. We are particularly interested and involved in the budget and appropriations process, as well as in tribal sovereignty issues, Indian gaming, economic development, education (including school construction), housing, and land-into-trust. Our mission is to provide opportunities to help improve the quality of life for tribes and their members by ensuring that they have the support they need from federal, state, and local governments.
1. assisting a tribal client to regain over 5,000 acres of its ancestral lands through a legislated negotiation on the Baca Ranch
3. passing legislation to allow a tribal client to invest its trust funds with a private investment firm, rather than BIA
