Legal Web Technologies' company mission is to develop secure, easy-to-use web applications that facilitate cost effective communication, collaboration and knowledge delivery by and between the legal team, its clients and its business partners. LWT's products are built upon a secure, reliable, robust web platform that can scale to support hundreds of thousands of users.
The LWT management team collectively has over 80 years' experience in legal information technology. As former employees of Hancock Rothert & Bunshoft LLP in San Francisco, California, most of the team has worked together for over a decade. In the mid-1990's, before the term "extranet" was even derived, LWT's founders developed one of the world's first attorney-client VPNs, connecting a number of law firms across the U.S. with their clients in London, England. In 1999, LWT developed the American Law Firm Association International's 7,000-user extranet which connects over 115 member firms throughout the world. LWT has developed award-winning web sites, including 2000Law.com, formerly the Web's leading resource for Y2K litigation.
