Welcome to Boston's Leather District
Description
Most of the work of the LDNA is performed by the standing committees. Leads + volunteers of these committees are appointed by the Council and report regularly to that body. Participation in committee work by old and new members alike is key to the LDNA's ability to deal with the many issues it faces.
This Committee deals with the day-to-day, "quality of life" issues of urban living. These include cleanliness of our streets and alleys, sidewalk repair, enforcement of regulations on dumpsters and trash receptacles, graffiti removal, recycling, lighting and rodent control.
To help improve the quality of life in the Leather District, the following strategies and goals are being pursued by the City Services Committee:
