Launched in 2004, LeanPath Inc. develops software for tracking food waste. Its software is used by large food service operations at hospitals, universities and other institutions that provide food service for large groups of employees and other users.
The company released a lighter-weight version of its software in mid-2010 for restaurants, hotels and catering services.
