LeaderPhone® Teleconferencing Services was developed as a part of a much larger product development effort that was the brainchild of business strategist and entrepreneur Michael T. McKibben, Chairman & Founder of Leader Technologies® in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. McKibben needed the functionality LeaderPhone® provides as a part of an overall enterprise-class communications platform called Leader2Leader®. Sister products in the Leader2Leader suite also include Leader Alert® for voice alert notification and dissemination and notification and Leader WebDemo™ for web and video conferencing.
Mr. McKibben assembled a "dream team" of developers and management that has spent three years tackling the most difficult technology design issues involved with the convergence between telecommunications and the web. Their resulting platform has been called a major breakthrough by pundits.
LeaderPhone® allows work teams from large- and medium- and small- businesses to be far more productive with a web-based conference call platform by enabling the conference call participants to manage their own conference calls at more affordable prices.
