Our common experience in the distribution and marketing of western brands gave us the opportunities to welcome makers and designers in Japan and to introduce them the Japanese fashion market. The excitement of the designers, manufaturers, line-builders from Europe and the US who were coming here to feel the trends, was so big that they were buying lots of samples and taking many pictures.
The idea came from their reactions and interests in what they could see and find in the streets and shops here. Still they were usually not able to come over to Japan more than two or three times a year due to the cost and time needed. Therefore, their views of the fashion was still very limited, especially taking into account that the trends here are changing very quickly.
