LDSTeach.com is the largest collection of Home Teaching and Visiting Teaching resources for Latter-day Saints on the Internet. Although it officially started operation on 17 June, 2000, it has a much longer history than that.
In early 1997, Kim Siever decided to start the first-ever website devoted to Home Teaching. It was slow at first, as not very many resources could be found to add to it. However, as more and more people visited the site, more and more people submitted resources for it.
A year later, the site was modified to include Visiting Teaching and a mailing list was created for discussion between Home & Visiting Teachers. By late 1998, there were two other moderators on the list besides Kim Siever. Eventually the list was handed over to moderator John Hesch so Kim could work on other projects.
