- Laura Fowler grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She studied at Davidson College in North Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history. After college, Laura photographed for a National Recreation Area in Kentucky. She then spent three years assisting commercial photographers in Dallas, TX. Laura continues her education by participating in nature photography workshops.
