Description
The Latah Soil and Water Conservation District is an important link in implementing sound resource conservation programs that are acceptable to, and for the benefit of, the residents of Latah County and the State of Idaho. Farmers, ranchers, landowners, teachers, students, volunteers, and ordinary citizens of Latah County all have something to contribute--and something to gain--from the Latah Soil and Water Conservation District.
is governed by seven locally elected Supervisors who voluntarily serve without pay. They are elected through the same procedure as state legislators on general election day.
