Description
Has been operating for thirteen years and relies on the voluntary contributions of community groups, friends, and alumni to continue offering a successful program. (Our success rates are over 85% for residents who complete a 7-9 month program.) The directors of the society meet regularly to give direction to the staff and share in the excitement of the expanding programs.
Offers long term residential treatment for substance abusers with positive re-integration and long term success. For many years we have served this community relying on minimal support and hard work for our continued growth. Using a blend of therapies (Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Behavioral Therapy) coupled with active participation in a twelve step program we have been able to help men stop using drugs and return to their roles as productive members of society.
Are certified addictions counsellors and the Executive Director, David Pavlus, is a Certified Clinical Supervisor as is the Administrator, Louise Cooksey. The organization has pioneered long-term treatment in the Lower Mainland and developed a unique peer counselling program for youth.
