Lara Pai is an interior designer, but considers herself an “Interior Makeover Specialist” offering “Affordable Interior Design Solutions.” Using primarily what the client already owns in a new and creative way is what she does best. One of her greatest pleasures is helping clients change their environments with paint; “The correct paint color is one of the least expensive ways in which to enhance any space” she believes. Being a color specialist, she evaluates the client’s environment, the architectural features of the design space and how sunlight affects the space throughout the day. Through her trained eye, space is transformed ~ affordably! “I believe that one of my roles as a designer is to keep clients from impulse buying ~ buying in haste over and over again.”
Lara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco as well as completing a core certificate in Interior Design from Cañada College. She is also a trained professional with IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) that is often featured on HGTV and Oprah. Lara is an active member of e-Women Network, IRIS, NAPO, ASID Student Member, DesignNet, Los Altos and Cupertino Chambers of Commerce.
Many of her design inspirations come from her love of travel, stemming from her first career as an airline executive. Her love of diversity, culture and art history make each one of her interiors one of a kind, tailored to each client’s preference.
