Purpose
To articulate the current equipment policy and introduce "win-win" expense sharing opportunities that benefit employee and company.
Existing equipment policy
- The company provides employees with the equipment it deems appropriate for them to perform their duties.
- Employees who own a laptop and use it as their primary work machine are helping the company by reducing expense. There is no obligation to do so.
Laptop contribution policy
- Employees that decide to purchase a personal laptop to serve as their primary work machine will be matched (up to $750) by the company. To be eligible, employees must plan to be with the company for at least one year and must not be on probation. The CEO may, at his discretion, decide to match employee laptop purchases for situations outside this policy.
