Description
The Language Analysis Laboratory is a nonprofit research lab located at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is home to the Systematic Analysis of Language Transcripts (SALT) Software. The Language Analysis Lab is dedicated to promoting the use of language sample analysis as a sensitive measure of language performance in context. The lab continues to meet the needs of clinicians and researchers in the United States and around the world by creating specific analyses for investigators and working with individuals interested in creating transcription and analysis routines for languages other than English. The sale of the software provides funding for collecting normative data, creating updated versions of the software, and developing training tools for the web site.
