- This site was created in February 2007. When I (the site creator) was looking for a new amp to buy, Laney amps came into my attention (thanks to the BKP forum). I looked for information relating to Laney amps on the internet, and apart from the official website and the reviews on Harmony Central, there was hardly anything out there. Lacking especially in sound clips. I had to go out of my way to try the amps myself, as, even in Britain, Laney amps are rather rare, at least when compared to stuff like Marshalls and Fenders. I tried many amps including boutiques and vintage amps and I bought the VH100R in the end. Simply because it sounded awesome. :D
