Lancaster Internet Services grew out of Lancaster.net web hosting and community portal services, reorganized in April of 2002 to bring quality, affordable hometown Internet service back to our region. In December of 2002 the company underwent a further change in focus, making a committment to operate as a For-Service company instead of a for-profit company. We have dedicated ourselves to be not only the best dial-up ISP service you can get, but to operate in service to our community through the @lancaster.net and @mennonite.net ISP services. All proceeds from your ISP subscription above operating costs are put back into the community through regional education, humanitarian and social service organizations, and through Mennonite social service organizations.
To support Service to our Community by providing direct financial and material support to Community Service organizations. By retaining only the funds needed to operate a top-quality ISP service and continue further development and support of web services, we are able to able to distribute a significant portion of ISP service-generated funds back to service organizations.
