- Robert Pyle developed LAMIFLOW in 1995, after listening to a discussion between facilities engineers in a hospital. A few weeks later, Robert returned to the facility and shared his creation with the gentlemen he had been speaking before. They installed the unit, tested for accuracy, and within a week were asking where they could order more of them. Thus, LAMIFLOW was created and shortly thereafter, received US Patent Number 5589643.
