9 years ago, I met Polly - a vibrant, funny, outgoing gal on the net. She was my very first on-line friend. We joined many groups together, had fun making games, sending cards and made a lot of other friends. We later called each other (trans-atlantic calls!) and sent gifts too. We taught each other how to make web pages, graphics and use messenger - you could say we grew up on the net together. Today, I lost my dear friend to cancer. I never met her in person, but I loved her all the same.
