Description
LACFAEA is a state-chartered organization of Filipino-American employees of Los Angeles County. It was formed in 1974 with a mission to promote and improve the status of Filipino American employees. Currently, there are 3,846 Filipino Americans employed by the County of Los Angeles. By bringing them together, LACFAEA can provide leadership necessary to ensure they have equitable and effective representation in the County government.
As membership grows, our level of influence and respect also grow. An active and viable LACFAEA empowers us to have a stronger voice that can correct unreasonable, unfair, and discriminatory employment practices affecting Filipino-Americans.
