Association of Kenyans in Russia, is a student organization for Kenyan students studying in Russian universities. The association also known as Kenya Students Union (KSU), was formed in 1988 by the then students and its aim were: 1. To unite and promote better relations among all Kenya Students in Russia and C.I.S.,
2. To advise, help and encourage Kenya Students to make full use of opportunities the offered them with the view of graduating as highly qualified specialists,
3. To establish close contacts with the youth and other students organization at home and abroad with the view of exchanging ideas of mutual interest,
4. To promote the Kenyan culture, appreciate the cultures of all other peoples and a love for peace, freedom and democracy,
5. To strive for the perpetuation of the African unity and common understanding among the peoples of Africa,
6. To struggle relentlessly, hand in hand with other peace-loving people for complete eradication of imperialism, colonialism and racism.
7. To promote better understanding between the people of Kenya, Russia and C.I.S.
As the only representative body of the Kenya students in Russia and C.I.S. (KSU/ Russia) endeavours to protect the interests and the general welfare of all Kenya students in the Russia Federation.
